Orora wraps up $59 million US acquisition

Packaging company Orora has wrapped up the $59 million acquisition of The Register Print Group as it grows its North American point-of-purchase business.

Packaging company Orora has wrapped up the $59 million acquisition of The Register Print Group in the US.

Orora says the $US44 million purchase of the New Jersey-based company, whose services include signage, packaging and retail display manufacture, represents a step toward the aim of growing its North American point-of-purchase business.

Shares in Orora were 3.0 cents, or 1.0 per cent, higher at 1040 AEDT.
