Orthodox Christians mark Christmas and a new year

For some followers of the Orthodox Christian faith, the festivities are just beginning with January the 7th marking Christmas and January the 14th, the beginning of a new year.

In many parts of the world, Christmas and new year celebrations have ended and the daily routines of another year have already begun.

But for some followers of the Orthodox Christian faith, the festivities are just beginning with January 7 marking Christmas and January 14, the beginning of a new year.
