Oscar songs face off in Billboard chart

After five weeks at the top of the US pop charts, Pharrell Williams' Happy is facing a challenge by Idina Menzel's Let It Go, which won the Oscar.

Pharrell Williams has scored a fifth week at No 1 on the US pop charts as he prepares for another battle with Idina Menzel.

Happy, Williams' hit from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack, missed out on an Oscar for Best Song earlier this month (Mar14). It was beaten by Menzel's Frozen theme, Let It Go.

Now the two stars are set for another battle, this time on the Billboard Hot 100.

Menzel's song has charged into the new top five and she is expected to challenge for the No 1 spot next week.

Meanwhile, John Legend's All Of Me has climbed to No 2, switching spots with Katy Perry's Dark Horse.
