Australia's Uber users have taken to social media in outrage after a worldwide outage of the popular ride-sharing app.
The company's Twitter trouble-shooting account went into overdrive responding to disgruntled users on Tuesday.
"Sorry for the trouble! We're aware of the issue and are working to resolve ASAP. We appreciate your patience," it tweeted in response to a number of angry posts.
As Uber works to resolve the issue complaints have come in from Australia, the United States, Canada, Europe, South America, India and New Zealand.
The disruption has not only left riders stranded and drivers passengerless but has also left many hungry customers without their food.
