A 20-year-old provisional driver has been charged after allegedly speeding more than 80km/h over the limit with two children in the car in Sydney.

A P-plater will face court after allegedly driving more than 80km/h over the speed limit with two children in the car in Sydney's southwest.

Police say the 20-year-old man, who holds a South Australian provisional licence, was clocked at 195km/h in a 110km/h zone on the Hume Highway at Ingleburn in the early hours of Sunday.

Two children, aged 11 and 12, were in the car at the time and the driver will face court charged with driving and licence offences.
