Pacific Magazines has a new chief executive, with the Seven West Media-owned publishing business announcing Gereurd Roberts has been elevated to the role.
Mr Roberts was previously general manager of food, family and home publications at Pacific Magazines and prior to joining the publisher worked at ACP Magazines (now Bauer Media) and Guardian News and Media.
Pacific Magazines publishes titles including New Idea, Home Beautiful and Marie Claire, and Seven West Media CEO Tim Worner said Mr Roberts would drive the expansion of the brands stable.
"Pacific Magazines continues to transform its business beyond the pages of a magazine across digital, social media and events," Mr Worner said.
"We are building share through new online platforms, and we are taking advantage of a changing landscape as our magazine brands continue to transition beyond print into social media, digital video, e-commerce and live events."
Mr Roberts takes over the CEO role from Peter Zavecz, who finishes at Pacific Magazines this month to take up the role of commercial managing director with News Corp Australia's Herald & Weekly Times.
