Pakistan: After the flood

The devastating floods in Pakistan this year affected almost 14 million people, eclipsing even the 2004 tsunami.

It was the worst flooding to hit the South Asian nation in at least 80 years - and despite pleas for assistance, critics said international donors were not forthcoming.

"This disaster is worse than the tsunami, the 2005 Pakistan earthquake and the Haiti earthquake," Maurizio Giuliano, a spokesman for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said in August.

CNN revisited the tragedy at the end of a terrible year for Pakistan.
