At least eight people were killed and more than 20 wounded in a southern Pakistan city on Monday when a gas cylinder apparently exploded, police said.
"The blast was apparently a gas cylinder explosion. Eight people were killed and dozens more injured," local police officer Kalim Mughal told AFP from Hyderabad, where the explosion occured.
"It was an accidental blast caused by a gas cylinder," city police chief Javed Alam said in an interview broadcast by several television channels.
