Half-centuries for Mohammad Hafeez and Ahmed Shehzad and skipper Shahid Afridi's a breezy cameo have propelled Pakistan to 5-201 against Bangladesh in their World Twenty20 clash in Kolkata.
Opting to bat first on Wednesday, Pakistan lost opener Sharjeel Khan for 18 but Hafeez (64) and Shehzad (52) added 95 runs to lay the foundation for a 200-plus total in the Group Two match.
Shahid Afridi (49) promoted himself up the batting order to No.4 and hit four sixes in his 19-ball innings before falling in the final over.
Bangladesh's left-arm spinner Arafat Sunny, who was reported for a suspect action earlier in the tournament, claimed 2-34 and Arafat Sunny took 2-34 but, otherwise, it was a forgettable outing for their bowlers.
