Palmer party disendorses candidate

Palmer United Party candidate Buddy Rojek has been disendorsed days after he distributed flyer promising volunteers they'd get "lucky".

"Due to Mr Rojek's recent disruptive actions, the Palmer United Party executive could no longer consider him a viable candidate," the party's national director Peter Burke said in a statement on Saturday.

"We have acted today to disendorse Mr Rojek in the best interests of the party and voters."

Mr Rojek was the candidate for the Victorian seat of Corangamite and made news this week for distributing a flyer about an over-18s election day party with male and female models and the promise that volunteers might get "lucky".

The flyer was also marked with XXX and pictures of models.

He told News Corp Australia that he was deep in credit card debt and could not afford to pay volunteers.

The 39-year-old describes himself as a small business owner and farmer on his Twitter account.

Mining billionaire Clive Palmer set up the Palmer United Party and has candidates all over the country.
