Manish Pandey and Dinesh Karthik have got India home against Sri Lanka in the fourth match of the Nidahas Twenty20 Tri-Series in Colombo.

Pandey hit an unbeaten 42 from 31 balls and Karthik was 39 not out as India recovered from 4-85 to win by six wickets.

In a match reduced to 19 overs per side due to rain, India won the toss and elected to field.

Kusal Mendis provided the chief threat for Sri Lanka, hitting two sixes from the first two deliveries he faced on his way to 55 from 38 balls, his fourth half-century in five innings.

Unfortunately for the hosts, wickets fell regularly with Upul Tharanga the next highest scorer with 22 from 24 balls.

Shardul Thakur picked up a four-wicket haul, including two in two balls, as Sri Lanka were restricted to 9-152.

In reply, India openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan fell cheaply to Akila Dananjaya but 27 from Suresh Raina and Pandey and Karthik's partnership of 68 ensured they gained revenge for their defeat to Sri Lanka in the opening match of the tournament.
