Penrith have re-signed young Kiwi wing wizard Dallin Watene-Zelezniak for another 12 months in a move that will keep the 19-year-old with the NRL club until the end of 2016.

Watene-Zelezniak debuted for the club in round five last year against Canberra and scored two tries in the win over the Raiders.

"I'm truly grateful and blessed that the Panthers want to keep me on for another year," he said.

"I'm really looking forward to putting in 100 per cent for the club, and I can't wait to get out on the field with the boys."

The Panthers' executive general manager of rugby league, Phil Gould, says Watene-Zelezniak has a bright future.

"It's wonderful," Gould said.

"I am very happy for Dallin and his family. Dallin is another of the outstanding young talents who have graduated through our junior league and development pathways. I see great things ahead for him.

"We are so lucky to have a player and person the quality of Dallin here at Panthers."
