A group of amateur space enthusiasts has used a hot air balloon to send a paper aeroplane into space, with some stunning pictures the result.

When it comes to space exploration, Britain has often trailed behind other countries. Russia put the first man into space, the Americans the first man on the moon.

But now a group of enthusiasts believe they may have restored some of Britain's credibility - after

launching the first ever paper plane in space, using a hot air balloon.

The plane sent back some stunning pictures.
