A paraglider has fallen to his death off a mountain on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.

An RACQ CareFlight Rescue Helicopter spokesman said a crew was called to Mount Archer, near Kilcoy, on Sunday morning to help the man, in his mid-30s, who had fallen about 10 to 20 metres.

"Unfortunately, the patient's injuries were too severe and (he) was pronounced dead at the scene," the spokesman said.
