Iconic Australian actor Paul Hogan will meet with the Australian Tax Office this afternoon, amid a row over his tax bill.

The ATO has reportedly hit Paul Hogan with a tax bill of $30 million, which The Australian newspaper says could reach $150 million once interest and penalty charges are calculated.

The actor has been banned from leaving the country until he pays up.

The star of film classic Crocodile Dundee had returned to Australia for his mother's funeral when the ATO filed an order stopping him from flying back to the United States, where he lives with his wife and young son.
