Sydney Roosters pair Mitchell Pearce and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves headline a strong list of NRL stars named to return for their clubs in round nine.
Pearce will make his long-awaited season debut after his eight-game ban for his Australia Day antics ended last week, while Waerea-Hargreaves appears for the first time since undergoing major knee surgery.
The Roosters duo will be joined in the NRL by Penrith stars James Segeyaro (arm) and Dean Whare (calf), while Manly speedsters Brett Stewart and Tom Trbojevic have been named despite last-start injuries.
South Sydney halfback Adam Reynolds has also been included in the Rabbitohs' 17, despite not being cleared of a broken jaw, to take on the battling Wests Tigers on Thursday.
Prop George Burgess comes back from an abdominal strain after missing last week's defeat to Brisbane, and Kyle Turner takes the place of the suspended Paul Carter.
But it's the return of Pearce and Waerea-Hargreaves that could tilt the competition back in the Tricolours' favour.
After losing seven of their opening eight games of the season, the Roosters sit in last place but take on a Newcastle side on Saturday that lost two players in their recent defeat to the Sea Eagles.
Key man Jarrod Mullen is out with a hamstring tear, while Peter Mata'utia injured his knee in his club debut, with youngster Will Pearsall named in the halves.
Jackson Hastings keeps his place in the halves alongside Pearce, with rookie Ryan Matterson keeping a spot on the bench and Isaac Liu back from suspension.
It is arguably their best side of the year.
Elsewhere across the competition, strike centre Tim Simona comes back from suspension for the Tigers and St George-Illawarra centre Euan Aitken appears to have recovered from a hamstring problem.
At Brisbane, Kodi Nikorima will deputise for the injured Andrew McCullough, with former Newcastle rake Travis Waddell set to make his club debut from the bench.
Back-rower Alex Glenn is also back from suspension.
The Warriors made the most changes of any team on Tuesday, having lost Simon Mannering and Tuimoala Lolohea to injury. Mid-season buy Shaun Lane has been tipped to make his club debut off the bench.
Under-fire referee Ben Cummins has been appointed to officiate the Manly-North Queensland match.
