Gold Coast recruit Nathan Peats just wants to move on from his controversial exit from Parramatta.
The 25-year-old arrived in Queensland on Sunday to start life at the Titans after being released by the Eels due to their salary cap woes.
Peats' arrival won't come soon enough for the hooker to debut for the Titans in Monday's NRL clash with Sydney Roosters, with next weekend's visit to Penrith set to be first appearance for his new club.
While obviously reluctant to depart the Eels, Peats says he's just excited about the opportunity that lies ahead on the Gold Coast.
"I've moved on. I'm happy to be up here and I've put the last week behind me," Peats said in an interview on the club's website.

"I've learnt it is a business, that's footy and I'm doing what I love still."
Peats will link up with former South Sydney teammates Chris McQueen and Eddy Pettybourne at the Titans.
He also revealed a telephone discussion with Titans back-rower Greg Bird had played a big part in convincing him to take the deal on offer.
"It's obviously good to have a few ex-teammates and blokes I know up here," Peats said.
"That made the decision a bit easier as well.
"I see the future of the club. I like the look of the squad and I like the way they're going."
