Pedestrian hit by car on Brisbane road

A pedestrian has suffered serious injuries after he was hit by a car in Kedron, north of Brisbane.

A pedestrian is in hospital after he was hit by a vehicle north of Brisbane.

Police say it appears the man was on Gympie Road, at Kedron, about 2.50am on Monday when the incident happened.

He suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
