Persistent polar bear shows why you shouldn't feed wild animals

A persistent polar bear in Russia has been giving oil workers a hard time by visiting their depot several times in the hope she would be given further milk and canned meat.

Hungry for more....

It's the fourth time the 2-year-old female, weighing 200 kilograms, was shot with a tranquilliser dart and transported away.

On one of her first visits, workers at the oil depot gave her some milk and canned meat.

But she kept coming back for more.

About 2500 polar bears are believed to inhabit the Nenets Autonomous Region, and their population has continued to grow since Russia banned polar bear hunting in 1957.
