Perth schoolie falls from Bali balcony

DFAT is investigating reports a male school leaver from Perth has been hospitalised after falling from a balcony in Bali.

A Perth school leaver celebrating in Bali has reportedly suffered serious injuries after falling from a balcony.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) said it was investigating the media reports, which claim the male teenager fell at least six metres.

"Consular officials stand ready to provide assistance if requested," a DFAT spokeswoman said.
