Pharrell Williams has celebrated his 41st birthday in style with a Spongebob Squarepants themed party in New York City.
The Happy star marked the milestone at Cipriani Wall Street on Saturday alongside his wife Helen Lasichanh and showbiz pals Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Russell Simmons, Chanel Iman and Nicky Hilton.
Rapper Q-Tip took was the DJ at the party, which was decorated with images of the characters from the beloved kids' cartoon series.
A number of stars who couldn't make the bash tweeted Williams with birthday messages.
One Direction singer Liam Payne wrote, "Happy birthday Pharrell hope you have a great day look forward to getting back in the studio with you next time I'm in Cali."

Williams' Blurred Lines co-star Robin Thicke added, "Wishing @Pharrell a very #Happy birthday."
