Collingwood defender Tom Langdon is entertaining offers from rival AFL clubs as well as considering a new contract from the Magpies.

While fellow backman Darcy Moore looks certain to stay at Collingwood, Langdon's manager made it clear he is not yet committed to the Magpies.

"We have received an offer for Tom, from Collingwood. So that is now something for Tom to consider," Scott Lucas told Macquarie Radio Network

"We have had a chat to other clubs though, there has been interest for Tom."

Langdon played 23 games this season for a career total of 80 and was among their best players in Saturday's grand final loss to West Coast.

He was one of their standouts as a rash of injuries forced repeated changes to their defence.

Moore was linked to Sydney, but that trade now looks unlikely.

The Magpies are also linked heavily to Gold Coast co-captain Steven May, amid strong speculation that he will seek a trade to Victoria.

While Langdon could be on the move, Lucas denied speculation that Richmond forward Jacob Townsend had already met with St Kilda.

Speculation is also growing that Richmond veteran Reece Conca will join Fremantle.

Conca, who has played 104 games, is an unrestricted free agent and WA is his home state.

Also on Wednesday, North Melbourne announced defender Sam Wright has signed a one-year contract extension.

Wright played 16 games this season after being out of AFL action for all last year because of injury.

"Sam showed some great resilience in getting back to play senior footy and showed why he is so important to the team," said Kangaroos football boss Cameron Joyce.
