Pilot missing from QLD helicopter crash

A helicopter has crashed in seas off Cape Tribulation in Far North Queensland, police say.

A pilot is missing following a helicopter crash in seas off Cape Tribulation in Far North Queensland.

A passenger made it to shore and raised the alarm at a local caravan park following the crash about 7.45pm on Thursday, police say.

It's unclear how many were onboard the aircraft.
