Pop superstar Pink has been forced to postpone another Sydney show as she recovers from a gastric virus in hospital.

Promoter Live Nation says Tuesday's performance at Qudos Bank Arena won't go ahead based on medical advice.

The American singer was admitted to St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney on Sunday night with dehydration but later discharged.

She was readmitted on Monday and diagnosed with a gastric virus.
"Pink remained in hospital overnight, continuing her treatment and recovery. She will be reassessed by her doctors today," Live Nation said in a statement on Tuesday.

The 38-year-old cancelled her first Sydney show on Friday night on doctor's orders but battled through a performance on Saturday night. Her Monday night concert was then cancelled just hours before it was due to start.

Pink kicked off her latest Australian tour in Perth from July 4. She then played in Adelaide before Sydney where further shows are scheduled on August 9, 11, 12, 25 and 26.
She's also due to perform seven shows in Brisbane between August 14 and 23 followed by Melbourne on August 28 and 29.

Pink last toured Australia in 2013 when she performed 46 shows as part of her Truth About Love world tour.
