A Chinese development group will unveil plans for a new theme park on the Gold Coast, six weeks after the Dreamworld tragedy.
The Songcheng Group is seeking development approvals on a $600 million first stage of the park, to be called Australian Legends World, after buying a block of land in Nerang.
The proposed theme park unveiling on Thursday comes a day after Dreamworld announced it will reopen on Saturday, December 10 - six weeks after the deaths of four people on the Thunder River Rapids ride.
