PM denies SA neglected in federal budget

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has rejected the South Australian government's claim the state was dudded in the 2017/18 federal budget.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull says it's "nonsense" to suggest the federal budget neglected South Australia.

The coalition's largest single investment in any state was in SA through its naval shipbuilding program, Mr Turnbull said as he rejected the claims of the SA Labor government.

"They should start governing their state and stop blaming all of their failures on somebody else," he told ABC Adelaide radio on Tuesday.
