PM focused on khaki election: Fitzgibbon

Labor's Joel Fitzgibbon says the prime minister wants 'a khaki election' when the nation next goes to the polls.

Labor frontbencher Joel Fitzgibbon says Tony Abbott is determined to make the next national poll a "khaki election".

He said the prime minister is focused on terror and military action, rather health and education to develop Australia's future.

"This guy is the master of mind manipulation, he's instilling fear and uncertainty into the community when he really should be instilling hope and aspiration," Mr Fitzgibbon told Sky News.
