PM Morrison set to meet with premiers

The north Queensland city of Cairns will host the Council of Australian Governments meeting in August.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison will meet with state and territory leaders in Cairns next month.

The first Council of Australian Governments meeting since the federal election has been scheduled for August 9.

The meeting is expected to discuss constitutional recognition of indigenous people, health reform and cyber security among other issues.
