Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull will travel to Queenstown to meet his New Zealand counterpart Bill English.
Australia and NZ have one of the strongest alliances in the world and Prime Minister Turnbull will be making his first official visit to the island nation.
On the agenda will be matters including trade and working with the new US government.
