Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has welcomed an announcement that Prince Charles and his wife Camilla will visit Australia next month.

The royal couple, in their second tour of Australia together, will be in the country from November 10-15 and visit Adelaide and Tanunda in South Australia, Canberra, Sydney, Albany and Perth.

"Lucy and I will be delighted to welcome The Prince and Duchess and expect Australians will be eager to display our country's hospitality to the Royal couple," he said in a statement on Wednesday.

Mr Turnbull said their activities will focus on areas that encompass Australia's community, culture and conservation.

They will also mark Remembrance Day in Canberra in the centenary year of the Anzacs.
