PM's grandson gets royal tick of approval

Malcolm Turnbull's newest grandson has received the royal tick of approval from the visiting Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull's newest grandchild has received the royal tick of approval from Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.

Mr Turnbull, who watched the Commonwealth Games' opening ceremony with the visiting monarchs on Wednesday night, said he showed the pair pictures of his and Lucy's new grandson.

"She (the Duchess of Cornwall) and the prince both thought he looked terrific so I have passed that onto my son and his wife in Singapore. They have got royal approval," he told Channel Seven on Thursday.
