SBS World News Radio: Papua New Guinea's prime minister Peter O'Neill, has survived a no confidence vote, but calls continue for him to stand down amid corruption allegations.

Eighty-five MPs supported Peter O'Neill, with the opposition only mustering 21 votes in a special sitting of parliament.

 

Police shooting in June of university students calling on Mr O'Neill to resign brought on the vote.
