Mr Scipione was the last witness to take the stand in one of the State's longest running inquests which started 16 months ago and had sat for 109 days.
The inquest has been looking into the siege in 2014 when gunman Man Haron Monis took hostages at the Lindt Cafe in Sydney.
Cafe manager Tori Johnson was killed by Monis while hostage Katrina Dawson along with the gunman were both killed when police stormed the cafe.
SBS reporter Alyshia Gates has been following the developments and she's speaking to Peggy Giakoumelos.
