Police have combed through a home in Queensland's Lockyer Valley looking for evidence that could lead to a breakthrough in the disappearance and suspected murder of Sam Price-Purcell.
Mr Price-Purcell was last seen in the Brisbane suburb of Mitchelton in February 2015 as he got into a yellow 2010 Holden Commodore SS sedan.
It is believed he travelled to the Toowoomba area.
Police say the Helidon home searched on Thursday once belonged to people with potential connections to Mr Price-Purcell.
"The exact details of what we're looking for I'm not prepared to reveal at this stage but our investigation so far has led us to believe some evidence was disposed of at that location after Sam went missing," Detective Senior Sergeant Michael Jones said.

Police are expected to look for personal items which belonged to Mr Price-Purcell.
It's the second search in two months in the Darling Downs region with a Leyburn property searched in March.
It was there officers found firearms and drug paraphernalia that was taken for further investigation.
The initial search followed a tip-off which came after an emotional appeal from the missing man's mother, Leoni Price.
"We need to know what happened so that we can have some peace," Ms Price told reporters at the time.
"The emptiness that I feel, his loss has just left a massive hole in our hearts."
