Police concerned about missing Sydney man

Sydney police have urged people to come forward with information about an elderly man missing since Thursday.

Police are concerned about an elderly man missing in Sydney's west who needs daily medication.

Norman Woodford, 76, was last seen leaving work at a museum on Gardenia Avenue, Emu Plains, about 1.30pm (AEDT) on Thursday, police said.

He was reported missing on Friday by his family.

He is described as Caucasian, 165 centimetres tall, with a slim build and is bald.

Anyone with information should call triple zero, police said.
