Police have dropped their investigation into the death of a man whose body was found hours after he and bouncers at a Melbourne pub were allegedly involved in a brawl.
The 22-year-old's death is no longer being treated as suspicious after detectives received the results of a post mortem, Victoria Police said on Friday night.
The man's body was found at his home in Orchard Ave, Eltham, by his family about 6.30am on Friday.
Bouncers at the Eltham Hotel - around three kilometres away - had been accused of brawling with the young man hours before his death.
Officers took several brown paper bags of evidence from the home, as well as examining the Eltham Hotel.

It's understood detectives also reviewed the hotel's security camera footage.
The Eltham Hotel, which is part of the Australian Leisure and Hospitality Group, declined to comment on the investigation.
Grieving family and friends visited the dead man's home on Friday.
A group of young men arrived at the home with flowers, before they helped carry their friend's body from the home to be placed in a van.
The family lived in a semi-bushland setting in Melbourne's north-east, and a neighbour said she heard nothing out of the ordinary overnight.
She said the family were long-term residents, and the man's home was never a source of trouble in the street.
"They've lived here for a long time," she told AAP.
"Oh my God, that is awful."
