Dreamworld may reopen this weekend after police finalised their on-site investigations at the Gold Coast theme park.
Almost two weeks after four people died on the Thunder River Rapids ride, police handed back control of the site to Dreamworld on Monday.
Investigations will continue as police prepare a report for the coroner on the cause of the tragedy.
The handover is another step towards the park reopening as the funerals for the last two victims were held in Canberra.
Siblings Luke Dorsett and Kate Goodchild were farewelled on Monday, following services for Sydney woman Cindy Low last week and Mr Dorsett's partner Roozi Araghi on the weekend.
Hundreds of mourners gathered at St Christopher's Church in the Canberra suburb of Manuka to remember Mr Dorsett and Ms Goodchild, whose daughter Ebony survived the tragedy.
The pair's uncle Ray Dorsett told attendees at the service the family will continue to seek answers to the circumstances of the tragedy.
"We cannot know for certain how long we have here," he said.
"What we can do is to live our lives as best we can with purpose."
Despite initially planning a quick reopening, Dreamworld announced three days after the October 25 accident it would not reopen the park until after funerals for all four of the victims had been completed.
It's expected the park's owners will make a statement on Wednesday.
