Police investigate death at WA community

Police are speaking with someone in relation to the death of a 28-year-old man at an Aboriginal community in WA's Kimberley region.

A 28-year-old man has died after a disturbance at an Aboriginal community in Western Australia's Kimberley region.

Police and paramedics were called to the Pandanus Park Community near Derby just after midnight on Friday and found the man unconscious.

He was taken to Derby Hospital but could not be revived.

Police say a person is assisting with the investigation, but haven't provided further details.
