Bodycam footage shows the moment a police officer from Riverside, southwest Ohio, mistakenly stuns his partner with a taser gun instead of the target during a quick arrest.

Footage from Riverside Police shows two officers in a scramble pulling the suspect out of a car on Thanksgiving Day when the officer pulls out his taser, according to AP.

When the officer attempts to stun the suspect a wayward probe hits his partner on the shoulder causing him to collapse to the ground.

"Let go, you got me," his partner yells in pain.

"Sorry, sorry Nick," the police officer said as his partner lets out a groan.

After the incident the officer that was stunned can be seen grimacing on the ground.

The officer was taken to the hospital with a head injury.
