British Prime Minister Theresa May's Conservative Party holds a 19-point lead over the main opposition Labour Party ahead of the national election on June 8, down a couple of points from last week, according to an opinion poll.
The ICM poll for the Guardian newspaper on Tuesday showed support for the Conservatives at 47 per cent, down a point from a week ago.
Labour gained a point to 28 per cent, while the Liberal Democrats fell two points to eight per cent, a level of support shared with the pro-Brexit UK Independence Party (UKIP).
Other polls have also shown a slight decline in the Conservative Party's lead over Labour over the last week, but they still point to a sizeable majority for May.
