Port Adelaide's players are on a post-China break before turning their minds to a trip they reckon is just as daunting - Geelong.
Port took the points in Shanghai against Gold Coast, setting the South Australian club up nicely at five wins and three losses.
Some Power players have stayed in China, others went to Hong Kong while some returned to Adelaide on Tuesday.
"Most of our players are back in the country, there are a few that are having a look for a couple of days because we have got a 10 or 11-day break," assistant coach Matthew Nicks said at Adelaide Airport.
"We're playing some really good footy, our players are confident and we'll have a nice freshen up."
Port will resume training ahead on Friday, their next assignment a Thursday May 25 away fixture in Geelong - where they haven't won since 2007.
"It's a tough road trip, no matter what. They're a fantastic football side," Nicks said.
"The travel is not going to be hard at all, we'll shoot down there and it will feel like it's gone in a flash.
"To win down there is a really tough road trip, there's no hiding from that."
Nicks said Port's China expedition went perfectly, capped by the 72-point win against the Suns - a result that lifted the Power's percentage to 150.8, the best in the league by more than 20 per cent.
"There wasn't a lot that we would do different," Nicks said.
"We went over reasonably early and that benefited us coming into the game because it did take a day or two to get settled.
"Talking to the players, they enjoyed having the two sessions and the captain's run where we could take it a little bit easier.
"They got used to the ground where we were playing so there's not a lot we would change."
