Port Adelaide are sweating on scans of dumped ruckman Matthew Lobbe's knee injury while ruling out an AFL return for Robbie Gray this weekend.
Lobbe, dropped from the Power's AFL side for last Saturday night's game against Richmond, hurt a knee while playing for Port Adelaide Magpies in the state league.
Port's high performance manager Darren Burgess said Lobbe would faced a stint on the sidelines - but for how long was unknown until the club received scan results.
"We'll send him for scans and then assess from there," Burgess told Port's website on Monday.
"There's a bit of conjecture about what his injury is. The truth is we won't know until the knee has been given time to settle and we can see what shows up (in scans)."
Burgess ruled Gray out of returning from a hamstring strain for Sunday's home game against Brisbane.
Gray injured a hamstring last Thursday at training and was unable to play against the Tigers.
