Port's Dixon two weeks off AFL return

Port Adelaide will take a cautious approach with star AFL forward Charlie Dixon as he recovers from an ankle injury.

Star forward Charlie Dixon is set to miss Port Adelaide's next two AFL games as he recovers from an ankle injury.

Power fitness coach Darren Burgess says the club will take a cautious approach with Dixon, who hurt his ankle in Port's round 17 win over North Melbourne.

Classy defender Jasper Pittard (groin) and tough midfielder Brad Ebert (head wound) have each been cleared to face Brisbane at the Gabba on Saturday night, Burgess told the Power website on Monday.
