Poultry producer Tegel to delist from ASX

Tegel Group will delist from the Australian and New Zealand stock exchanges within two weeks.

Tegel Group will delist from the Australian and New Zealand stock exchanges within two weeks as the Filipino firm buying the poultry producer takes full ownership.

Bounty Fresh Food last week exercised its compulsory acquisition rights after taking its holding past 90 per cent.

Tegel, New Zealand's biggest poultry producer, says its shares will be suspended from trade after the market closes on Monday and be delisted from the ASX and NZX on October 23.
