Power has been restored to all but a few of the Endeavour Energy customers in NSW whose connection was lost during the recent storms.

Homes across Sydney and the Central Coast lost power after Thursday afternoon's wild weather, during which powerlines and trees were brought down, including one that hit a car and killed a man in Sydney's west.

Crews from Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy have worked through Friday night and Saturday to reconnect power, with both saying almost all customers had been reconnected on Saturday night.
