Pram hit by car in Melbourne

A car has struck a group of pedestrians, including a pram and two children, in Melbourne's north.

Three thugs are on the run after their stolen car struck two people and a pram in a hit-and-run crash in Melbourne's north.

The stolen Skyline car, that police say may have been hooning, hit two women with a pram, a two-year-old infant and an eight-month-old baby in Cragieburn as they were crossing the road shortly before 10am on Monday.

Two men and a woman who were in the car fled the crash site, Victoria Police say.

The children and one of the women were taken to the Northern Hospital as a precaution and are in a stable condition.
