Pregnant woman dies after suspected snake bite in WA

A pregnant woman has died after a possible snake bite in Western Australia's Mid West region and police will now prepare a report for the coroner.

A heavily-pregnant woman has died after a suspected snake bite in Western Australia's Mid West region.

A St Johns Ambulance spokesman told AAP officers began CPR on the woman, aged in her late 20s, and took her to Meekatharra Hospital on Monday night, where she later died.

Police were preparing a report for the coroner.
