Prisoner escapes on day release in NT

A prisoner on a day release work program has escaped in Alice Springs.

A prisoner has escaped from a prisoner day release work program in Alice Springs.

Steven Nolan, 36, was last seen about 12.50pm on Tuesday at Blatherskite Park, police say.

He is not considered a threat to the public but police are urging police not to approach him but instead report sightings og him to 131 444.
