Australian snowboard cross star Alex Pullin has started the Olympic season in perfect fashion, winning two gold medals at the World Cup event in Argentina.
Pullin, a two-time world champion, won Saturday's six-man final for his first gold in Cerro Catedral to begin the campaign leading to February's Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.
He backed it up the following day in the same discipline, leading the four-man final from start to finish for his ninth career World Cup gold.
"There is no feeling than crossing the line when there is no one in front of you," said Pullin, who crashed out in the quarter-finals at the Sochi Olympics in 2014.
"I felt fast in training so I knew I should be pretty good today with the racing again.
"The first few heats got underway and they were pretty good and then, yeah, I was just able to do it again and lead the heat from the start, find some daylight and go.
"Feels amazing, unreal. I couldn't be happier."
The snowboard cross World Cup next heads to France in December.
