Four Cavoodle puppies, just seven and nine weeks old, have been stolen from a Melbourne pet shop.

The two seven-week and two nine-week old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel poodle crosses, which sell for around $3000 each, were taken about 11.20pm on Saturday night.

The owner of the Toorak Road, Camberwell, store was alerted when an alarm was triggered and when she arrived, she could not find the puppies.

Victoria Police asked anyone with information about the theft of the puppies to contact Crime Stoppers.
